The 2019 Chardonnay Reserve offers a stylistic alternative to our 2019 steel fermented Chardonnay. The stainless steel aging of the 2019 Chardonnay preserves vibrant acidity and highlights fruit and floral characteristics, while the oak aging of the Chardonnay Reserve provides a more textural wine. It was aged 10 months in French Oak barrels, softening the acidity to create a smooth wine with great length. It does not have the specific buttery characteristic often associated with oak aged Chardonnay, but still displays a delicate richness for those that are looking for a white wine with fuller body. This Chardonnay Reserve is layered with apple, white flowers, vanilla, and baking spice. It delivers depth and complexity intended to satisfy Chardonnay lovers as well as those that may typically shy away from oaked Chardonnay.
