Sauvignon Blanc from France to Virginia with Winemaker Katell Griaud
Join us for a special tasting that crosses the Atlantic, led by Slater Run winemaker, Katell Griaud.
Katell will guide guests through five wines connecting her family’s winemaking roots in France with her work here in Virginia. The tasting will feature three wines from her family’s certified-organic vineyard, Château Kalian in Monbazillac, France – Bergerac, Bergerac Au Temps du Temps, and Monbazillac, alongside two Slater Run wines, Sauvignon Blanc and Nest.
Through each wine, Katell will share the stories, places, and winemaking traditions behind these distinct expressions of Sauvignon Blanc, from southwest France to Virginia.
An assortment of cheeses will accompany the tasting.
