Aging Gracefully… in the Bottle: Let’s Talk about Tannins with Associate Winemaker, Karl Selzer

Tannins play a major role in winemaking and approaches to style. In this month’s tasting, we will dive into tannins from the vineyard to the cellar and discuss what they are (and are not!), how concentration and type impact a myriad of sensory facets, and how we use them in Virginia winemaking.

Wines will be paired with a selection of cheese, charcuterie, and accoutrements.
